Once here you will:

• Design and plan creative research, including sample design, screeners, field guides, etc.
• Execute the research, including leading teams out in the field.
• Synthesize and think about systems-level patterns and frameworks.
• Communicate and tell stories using writing, visuals, and verbal communication.
• Make research findings relevant and impactful for design through a variety of formats such as insights, decks, stories, videos, experiences, and exhibits.

Required Experience:

• 3 to 5 years (or more!) of qualitative research experience.
• Ability to synthesize research findings, uncover and articulate insights that will inform and inspire design.
• Ability to work flexibly and efficiently, exercising a balance between research rigor and inspiration.
• High comfort level in working within a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity.
• Openness to critique from other designers and curiosity to learn from a spectrum of perspectives. You are optimistic, generative, and open to new ideas and ways of working.

Once here you will:

• Create “looks like/works like” prototypes that communicate a design to potential user and client stakeholders.
• Design websites, apps, and a wide variety of other digital/physical experiences with the end user in mind.
• Collaborate with designers from different backgrounds such as business and communication, and other interaction designers to develop a holistic design.

Required Experience:

• 3–5 years (or more!) of interaction design experience across a variety of digital media.
• Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, New Media, HCI, or other relevant degree.
• Extensive experience with a variety of graphic and interactive prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Principle, InVision, etc.
• High comfort level in working within a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity.
• Openness to critique from other designers and curiosity to learn from a spectrum of perspectives. You are optimistic, generative, and open to new ideas and ways of working.
• You are ready to learn from failure, embrace an iterative process and you understand that success comes sooner with trial and error. You have experience in delivering both low and high fidelity prototypes.

Once here you will:

• Lead the storytelling and create compelling visual narratives of our work, clearly communicating what we have made, how it was produced and where it should go.
• Develop brand strategies to guide the experience a user has with a company, product or service, and lead the creation of the brand identity to express a brand across all touchpoints with users.
• Create prototypes of different levels of fidelity to help teams determine the design direction.

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years (or more!) and a strong portfolio of communication design experience across a variety of applications and media.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, in graphic design, communications design, or an equivalent visual degree.
• Experience establishing a brand identity, from understanding strategy; designing visual identities, defining brand architectures and building clear guidelines for implementation.
• Strong information and visualization design skills including typography and layout, and a passion for visual design across a breadth of media.
• Passion for learning and experimenting with new methods to deliver design solutions.
